Hatchet

1. Grow towercap at a hydroponics tray

2. use hatchet on Towercap to create logs

3. use hatchet on logs create planks

Floors

Construction

  1. With rods in hand, click on empty space tile.
Used as a basis for plating.
Deconstruction

  1. Use a welder to deconstruct the lattice into a rod.

Construction

  1. With rods in hand, click on lattice or plating.
Used as a more permanent structure over open spaces or to leave underfloor piping and wiring visible.
Deconstruction

  1. Use a welder to deconstruct the catwalk into a rod.

  Crowbar

Construction

  1.   Use a regular floortile on lattice.

Blocks air and can be used for further construction.

Deconstruction

  1. Use welder on the plating.
  2. Use crowbar on the plating to deconstruct into a floor tile.
Repair

  1. Use a welder to repair the plating

Construction

  1. Use any floortile on plating.

Floor tiles cover up wires and pipes.

You can also construct wooden and other floors the same way.
Deconstruction

  1. Use a crowbar on the floor tile.

Created in the autolathe then dragged to a plating, use screwdriver to secure.

Walls

Walls
Construction Requires Tools
  Regular Wall 4x

2x   and any 2x stacked material.

Construction

  1.   Use metal to make wall girders.
  2.   or   use metal or plasteel on the girders to make the wall.
Deconstruction

  1.   Welder.
  2.   Wrench the remaining girder.
  Reinforced Wall 2x  , 4x

2x any 4x stacked material,

Construction

  1.   Use metal to make wall girders.
  2.   or   use metal or plasteel on the girders to make the wall.
  3.   Screwdriver girder to enable reinforcement.
  4.   or   use metal or plasteel to reinforce the girders. Does not effect final wall strength.
  5.   or   use metal or plasteel to finish the wall. Does effect final wall strength.
Deconstruction

  1.   Wirecutters.
  2.   Screwdriver.
  3.   Welder.
  4.   Crowbar.
  5.   Wrench.
  6.   Welder.
  7.   Crowbar.
  8.   Screwdriver.
  9.   Wirecutters.
  10.   Wrench the remaining girder.
  Grille 2x  
Construction

  1.   Use rods to create a grille.
Deconstruction

  1.   Wirecut to dissassemble.
Extra

  •   You can place a powered wire underneath to electrify the grille.
  •   You can wrench the grille to unanchor or reanchor it so it can be moved.
  Low Wall 2x  , 4x  , 2x  
Construction

  1.   Use metal sheets to create the low wall.
  2.   Use rods on the low wall to add a grille.
  3.   Use glass on the low wall to add a window.
  4.   Screw the window into place.
  5.   Pry the window into the frame.
  6.   Screw the window into the frame.
Deconstruction

  1.   Unscrew the window from the frame.
  2.   Pry the window out of the frame.
  3.   Unscrew the window from the frame.
  4.   Deconstruct the window.
  5.   Cut the grilles.
  6.   Deconstruct the low wall.
Extra

  •   You can place a powered wire underneath to electrify the grille.
  •   You can wrench the grille to unanchor or reanchor it so it can be moved.

Glass

Glass
Construction Requires
  Glass Panel 1x ,  Click on the glass sheet, select one directional. Right-click the panel to rotate. Use screwdriver to complete construction. You can also left-click a grille with the glass sheet to place directly on the grille.
  Full Glass 2x ,  Click on the glass sheet, select full. Use screwdriver to complete construction.
  Reinforced Glass Panel 1x , ,  Click on the glass sheet, select one directional. Right-click the panel to rotate. Use the following sequence to complete construction:

  Screwdriver ,   Crowbar,   Screwdriver. Reverse to deconstruct.

You can also left-click a grille with the glass sheet to place directly on the grille.

  Reinforced Full Glass 2x , ,  Click on the glass sheet, select full. Use the following sequence to complete construction:

  Screwdriver ,   Crowbar,   Screwdriver. Reverse to deconstruct.

Airlocks & Doors

Airlocks & Doors
Construction Requires
  Airlock 4x  ,1x , , , , 
Construction

  1.   Use metal to make an airlock assembly.
  2.   Wrench airlock assembly in place.
  3. (Optional) Use a pen to name the airlock.
  4. (Optional)   Add reinforced glass to make a glass airlock.
  5.   Add wires to assembly.
  6.   Unlock the airlock control board with an ID card, and use it in hand to set the access levels.
  7.   Add airlock control board to assembly.
  8.   Screwdriver to finish.
Deconstruction

  1.   Screwdriver the door.
  2. Use multitool and wirecutters to disable everything except the doorbolts as detailed here. Doorbolts must be up for this to work.
  3.   Weld the door shut.
  4.   Crowbar the electronics out. (if the door is electrified, this won't work for some reason)
  5.   Wirecut the wires out.
  6.   Unsecure it with a wrench.
  7.   Weld it to deconstruct to metal plates.
  Emergency Shutter 4x  , , , 
Construction

  1.   Use metal to make an airlock assembly.
  2.   Wrench airlock assembly in place.
  3.   Add wires to assembly.
  4.   Add air alarm circuit board to assembly.
Deconstruction

  1.   Screwdriver the shutter to open it's hatch.
  2.   Weld the shutter closed.
  3.   Crowbar the Electronics out.
  4.   Wrench the shutter assembly to unsecure it.
  5.   Weld the unsecured assembly to disassemble it into sheets of metal.
  Window Door 5x ,4x  , , , , , 
Construction

  1.   Click on reinforced glass and click "windoor."
  2.   Use a wrench to secure.
  3.   (Optional) Add rods to make a secure windoor
  4.   Add wires
  5.   Unlock the airlock control board with an ID card, and use it in hand to set the access levels.
  6.   Add airlock control board to assembly.
  7.   Use a crowbar to finish the assembly.
  Regular Hidden Door 4x  ,   Use metal and create a wall girder. Use a crowbar on the girder, then place the rest of the metal.

You can also deconstruct a wall to the girder state, then start this construction to turn an existing wall into a hidden door.

  Reinforced Hidden Door 2x  ,2x  ,   Use metal and create a wall girder. Use a crowbar on the girder, then place the reinforced metal.

Wall Mountings

  APC 2x , , , , , , 
Construction

  1.   Use metal to make an APC frame and use the frame on the wall you want it on.
  2.   Add wire to the assembly.
  3.   Add power control module to the assembly.
  4.   Screwdriver the assembly.
  5.   Add powercell to assembly.
  6.   Use crowbar to shut.
  7. Use an ID card to open the APC and turn the main beaker on.
Deconstruction

  1. Swipe card to unlock APC
  2. Remove the power cell.
  3.   Screwdriver the assembly.
  4.   Lift the floorboards in front of the APC.
  5.   Wirecut the assembly.
  6.   Crowbar the assembly to remove the control.
  7.   Use the welder to remove the APC from the wall.
  8. (Optional) Wrench the frame to remove it.
  Air Alarm 2x , , , 
Construction

  1.   Use metal to make an air alarm frame and use the frame on the wall you want it on.
  2.   Insert the air alarm electronics to the assembly.
  3.   Wire the assembly.
  4.   Screwdriver to complete.
Deconstruction

  1.   Open the cover.
  2.   Wirecut the assembly.
  3.   Pry out the circuit.
  4.   Remove the air alarm from the wall.
  Fire Alarm 2x , , , 
Construction

  1.   Use the metal and make an air alarm frame.
  2. Use the frame on the wall you want it on.
  3.   Put in the electronics.
  4.   Wire with cables.
  5.   Screwdriver to close.
Deconstruction

  1.   Open the cover.
  2.   Wirecut the assembly.
  3.   Pry out the circuit.
  4.   Remove the air alarm from the wall.
  Light Fixture 2x , , 
Construction

  1.   Use metal to make an light fixture frame or small light fixture frame and use the frame on the wall you want it on.
  2.   Wire the assembly.
  3.   Screwdriver to complete.
  4. Add a light tube for large frame or a lightbulb for small frame.
  Security Camera Camera Assembly, , , , 
Construction

  1. Drop the camera assembly infront of the wall you would like it to be.
  2.   Wrench the camera assembly.
  3.   Weld the camera into place.
  4.   Add the wiring.
  5. (Optional) Add any additional upgrades.
  6.   Screwdriver to complete and set networks / direction.
  Wall-mounted Sign   Use screwdriver to place on wall or remove.

Construction

  1.   Use the metal and create the computer frame.
  2.   Wrench in place.
  3.   Insert computer circuitboard of your choice.
  4.   Use the screwdriver on assembly.
  5.   Insert wires to assembly.
  6.   Insert glass to assembly.
  7.   Screwdriver to complete the construction.
Deconstruction

  1.   Screwdriver to detach the screen.
  2.   Crowbar to pry off the screen.
  3.   Wirecutters to cut the cables.
  4.   Screwdriver to detach the circuit lid.
  5.   Crowbar to pry out the circuit.
  6.   Wrench to detach the frame.
  7.   Welder to disassemble the frame.
  Modular Computer 20x/15x/10x/5x  , Components
Construction

  1.   Use the metal and create the modular computer frame.
    1. Consoles require 20 metal.
    2. Telescreens require 15 metal.
    3. Laptops require 10 metal.
    4. Tablets require 5 metal.
  2. Add the required components. These can be found in Tech Storage, printed from the Protolathe, or yanked out of existing computers.

Deconstruction

  1.   Screwdriver repeatedly to remove all the components.
  2.   Wrench to dismantle the computer frame.
  Turrets 7x  ,  ,  ,  ,  , 
Construction

  1.   Use the metal and create the turret frame.
  2.   Wrench in place.
  3.   Use metal on the assembly to add a cover.
  4.   Use wrench on the cover to secure.
  5.   Add a energy weapon to the assembly.
  6.   Add a proximity sensor to the assembly.
  7.   Screwdriver to secure.
  8.   Add more metal to the frame.
  9.   Weld to complete the construction.
  Disposal Pipes and Machinery Disposal Dispenser,  ,  ,  
Construction

  1. Retrieve the pipe or machinery from the disposal dispenser.
  2.   Crowbar any floor tiles that may be in the way.
  3.   Move pipe onto plating, you can rotate the pipe using right-click. Wrench into place.
  4.   Weld to complete.

To deconstruct pipes, welder, wrench. To deconstruct machines, use a screwdriver.
