Page length

The long-page template has been up since November 11th, (3 months ago) - and yet we are still adding to the page! This is the longest article on the wiki by 1.2x, it's time to think of how to rework the page to be more accessible. - Skeeveo ❯❯❯ Talk 21:29, 15 February 2018 (UTC)

When writing skrellian

skrellian v Skrellian.

skrellian is always written lowercase. Never uppercase. Eckles (talk) 14:56, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

Castes section

I noticed the castes section is basically just a carbon copy of the page! Is this intentional / what is the point of the castes page if it's essentially a copy-paste? - Skeeveo ❯❯❯ Talk 00:11, 19 July 2018 (UTC)

I was long ago forced to break them up. It mainly exists incase of anything needed to be cut down/expanded on either end. Minor future proofing. Eckles (talk) 00:15, 19 July 2018 (UTC)

Underlinked?

I've linked to every relevant article that has a link to go to. (Planets, species, factions)

What else do you want it to link to, exactly?

Eckles (talk)

The underlinked is automatically applied by AWB based on the length of the article vs. the number of links to other articles, some links - such as the main article links - don't count, because they are simply subpages of the primary article. For reference, in the 5000 word article, there are 7 "proper" links. AWB expects at minimum .50% of the article be links (and this is downgraded from it's usual 2% for the sake of our wiki being less strict,) at the moment its 0.1%. I know this subject matter is more difficult to link to other articles, but I am going to elect keeping the tag because the majority of the links are pretty standard in regards to species articles (we call this "circular linking", where a group of articles just link to each other.)
When you have a really long article like this it's best to try to spread out your links, you may find it easier then putting them all in one section. --Skeeveo ❯❯❯ Talk 00:13, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
I should add most articles get away with this because of their relative shortness, they only really need 1 link vs. a long page that needs multiple links. --Skeeveo ❯❯❯ Talk 00:14, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
